Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong and Other Leaders Visit the Company for Inspection and Research

They were accompanied by Executive Vice Mayor Zhou Bo, Secretary-General of the Municipal Government Tang Zhiping, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government Ma Chunlei, and Executive Deputy Director of the Shanghai Zhangjiang Comprehensive National Science Center Office Shi Erwei, among other relevant leaders. Mayor Ying first visited the company's exhibition hall, where the staff reported to him on the progress of Shanghai Superconductor's work in the research and development and industrial application of second-generation HTS materials, superconducting independent equipment, and projects. He then visited the company's production workshop with great interest, where he inspected the second-generation high-temperature tape production line independently developed by the company. He also inquired about the technical research and development and production level of superconducting materials from Zhu Jiamin, the head of the Materials Division. After the visit, Chairman Qiu Wei reported to Mayor Ying on the company's research and development and industrial development in the field of superconductivity, as well as its future development strategy.
