On November 16, 2021, Shanghai Superconductor organized a voluntary blood donation campaign themed “Relaying Life, Adding Luster to Superconductivity.” More than ten people enthusiastically signed up for the event, with six individuals successfully donating a total of 1,200 milliliters of blood.

At 9 a.m., employees participating in the blood donation gathered early at the company building and set off together to the Pudong New Area Blood Management Center to take part in the voluntary blood donation.

Under the guidance of medical staff, the participating employees lined up in sequence to register, undergo blood tests, and donate blood. Among the donors, there were “veterans” who had been donating blood for many years, as well as “newcomers” who were donating for the first time.

To participate in the blood donation, Xiao Guo, who had been on duty the previous night, stayed behind specifically for the event and then hurried home to rest after donating blood.

Blood is finite, but genuine emotion is priceless. Every drop of blood is a transmission of love. In recent years, the company has organized voluntary blood donation activities almost every year. This campaign aimed to highlight the exemplary role of the company’s Party members and cadres, and to demonstrate the initial commitment and mission of Shanghai Superconductivity and its employees to be willing to contribute, take responsibility, and actively engage in public welfare and social responsibility.
