2015-09-18
In April 2015, the 4th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition kicked off, attracting over 27,000 enterprises and teams nationwide. These participants were involved in various fields, including new materials, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing, the Internet, electronic information, new energy, and energy conservation and environmental protection. For companies in the new materials industry, this competition was not just a contest but also a platform to showcase the latest scientific research achievements, promote the development of the new materials industry, and accelerate China's scientific and technological progress.
Shanghai Superconductor stood out among thousands of companies in the Shanghai regional finals, winning first place and advancing to the national finals. From September 15 to 17, 2015, Shanghai Superconductor joined 157 other top companies in the new materials field from across the country in Zibo, Shandong, to present and showcase their projects.

At the finals, Shanghai Superconductor not only demonstrated the world-class performance of its second-generation high-temperature superconducting tape but also showcased the world's first independently designed and manufactured "turnkey" HTS tape production line. The company also presented its true "industry-university-research-application" integrated product development model and its future development strategy of "emphasizing R&D, focusing on the market, and maintaining a light asset base." The dedication of Shanghai Superconductor's young elite scientist team, working tirelessly to transform "Made in China" into "Created in China," deeply impressed the judges and the audience. Ultimately, 48 outstanding enterprises were selected, and Shanghai Superconductor won the Outstanding Enterprise Award for its "Second-Generation High-Temperature Superconducting Tape Project" at the 4th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

After the competition, Shanghai Superconductor further engaged with clients interested in investing in second-generation HTS tape, providing them with a more comprehensive understanding of the product and business model. This laid the foundation for future cooperation.
